Did You Know that a legendary blues guitarist is a native of Pointe Coupée Parish, Louisiana?

Buddy Guy, a famous blues guitarist, winner of several Grammy awards and owner of Buddy Guy's Legends, a blues club in Chicago, was born in Lettsworth. According to an article in The Pointe Coupee Banner -- His first "guitar" was homemade from a lighter fluid can, a small flat board, and screen wire he'd taken from his mother's bedroom window.
